                                                                        Anita A. Wyatt

 Anita Alvina Wyatt was born in Wilton, IA on November 16, 1923, the daughter of Harold and Etha (Doran) Wacker, Sr. She graduated from Wilton High School, with the Class of 1941. She proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corp. Anita married John D. Wyatt on March 17, 1945 in Baltimore, MD. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2014.

Anita worked for the Wilton Chamber of Commerce from 1962-1985, retiring as Executive Vice President. She was involved in the industrial development committee. Anita was instrumental in establishing Wilfundy, Founders Day, The Smorgasbord, and bringing industry to Wilton. She was also the first woman to serve as President of the Iowa State Chamber of Commerce. She was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church. Most of all, Anita dedicated her life to serving her family and her community.

 Anita is survived and lovingly remembered by her sons, Michael (Traci) Wyatt of Indianola, IA and Brent Wyatt of Wilton; daughter-in-law, Pamela Wyatt of Oskaloosa; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Stacey) Wyatt, Matthew (Jazzmin) Wyatt, Casey (Kris) Wyatt, Steven Wyatt, Colin Wyatt and Svea Wyatt; sister, Glenna Van Atta of Wilton; brother, Steve Wacker of Marana, Arizona; and sister-in-law, Jeanine Wacker of Wilton.     She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Don Wyatt; sister, Maurine Peeks; and brother, Harold "Buck" Wacker Jr.
