Jarod Allgood age 21 of Manchester, Iowa died at Mercy Hospital in Cedar
Rapids, Iowa. Funeral services at Zion Lutheran Church in Wilton, Cedar County,
Iowa with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery there.
Jarod Adam Allgood was the son of Jack and Becky Van Atta Allgood. He was born
in Seguin, Texas. He attended Wilton High School and graduated from Delaware
High School in Manchester, Iowa in 1990. He was a sophomore at Kirkwood College
in Cedar Rapids at the time of his death.
While in high school he was on the student council and played basketball,
baseball and football. He was an all-conference selection in football.
He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester and Youth for
Christ. He was a member of the UNI Rugby Team and was also involved in American
Legion Boys State.
